NMHC board meeting today
The Northern Marianas Housing Corp.’s board of directors is giving notice that the board’s regular meeting, which recessed on June 6, 2005, will reconvene today, June 28, 2005. The meeting will start at 10am at the NMHC Conference Room in Garapan, Saipan. The public is welcome to submit written or oral comments regarding the agenda. Individuals interested in attending the meeting and needing special accommodations are requested to contact NMHC in advance.

Booths available for 2005 Summer Festival
The Carolinian Affairs Office, in collaboration with the Chamolinian Cultural Village, is proud to announce the 2005 Summer Festival, which will be held from July 6 until Aug. 30, 2005, at the Chamolinian Cultural Village ground in Garapan. Booths are available to any nonprofit organization interested to raise fund during the festival.

FRG participation in 4th of July parade

Smiling Cove Marina closed today
The Department of Lands and Natural Resources is informing tenants, boaters and visitors of the Smiling Cove Marina that due to security reasons for the planned visit of the Emperor of Japan, the Smiling Cove Marina will be closed from 12:01am to 1pm today, June 28, 2005.
Any access within the Smiling Cove Marina will be restricted.

Visminda’s raffle draw postponed
The coronation and raffle draw of the Visayas Mindanao Association’s “Mrs. VISMINDA 2005” has been postponed to July 2, 2005
“We decided to postpone the coronation night and raffle draw to make the event more memorable, colorful, appealing, and full of entertainment for our patrons, sponsors and the public who will attending our gala night,” the group said in a statement. “We are inviting you to come and join the fun with us.”
