Twenty-six models of all ages showed off what they’ve got at the first ever Joeten Christmas Fashion Show held at the Joeten Department Store in Susupe Saturday night.
The models wore outfits from five different collections: casual wear, beach, athletic wear, pajamas, little black dress, and Christmas wear.
Joeten marketing manager Frannie T. Demapan said the featured collections were from the Joeten Department Store and its affiliate companies, Athlete’s Foot, All Star Sporting Goods, and Borderline.
“We try to feature a variety of different types of clothing just to let people know exactly what we have here in the store,” she told Saipan Tribune.
Demapan said the fashion show, which was free to the public, was put together in three weeks to thank the community for the support it has given to Joeten.
She said Joeten Department Store has a lot of new arrivals that are perfect for holiday shopping.
“We will have a new shipment in the spring as well so we might feature a spring fashion show, too,” added Demapan.
Sponsors for the fashion show included Revlon Cosmetics for the makeup; Salon de Fleur located next to Big Dipper for the girls’ makeup; Eydie Uy of Makeover Salon for the teens’ makeup; Marianas Management Corp. for the stage; “and to the many volunteers who helped me backstage for putting everything together.
“Happy holidays from Joeten. Thank you for supporting us for over 60 years. We truly appreciate you and your families and we hope you have a great holiday season,” said Demapan.
