Shell gas stations on Saipan rolled back prices by five cents per gallon last midnight, citing easing market forces in Singapore.

Sometime last month, Shell rolled back pump prices by 10 cents a gallon.

In a media release, Shell Marianas president Phil Stalker said, “We are mindful of the impact of recent increases on our customers and therefore have again lowered the price of our retail fuels effective as soon as possible.”

“The pricing of crude and some refined products in Singapore have continued to ease,” he said.

Shell’s new gallon prices for gasoline are now slightly below $3. Full-serve gallon rates of regular and premium gasoline went down slightly to $2.819 and $2.939, respectively; the price of diesel remains at $2.959 at full-serve rate.
