San Roque Golf tourney on May 29

The San Roque Parish will hold its 11th Annual San Roque Golf Tournament on May 29 at the Marianas Country Club Resort in Marpi.

According to organizers, the tournament will feature six flights or divisions, namely Championship Flight, A Flight, B Flight, C Flight, Ladies Flight, and Seniors Flight. The top three players in each flight will receive great prizes from San Roque Parish.

The 11th Annual San Roque Golf Tournament will kick-off with a shotgun start at noon and will have an awards ceremony beginning at 5pm.

Entry fee is $100, which will go to community and church development in the San Roque and As Matuis areas. The donation is inclusive of green fee and cost of renting a golf cart. Refreshments, drinks, and sandwiches will also be served to players taking part in the tournament.

There would also be hole-in-one and closest-to-the-pin competitions. Hole-in-one prizes include cash prizes, a four-wheeler, and a car. Those interested in joining the closest-to-the-pin contest registration costs $10.
