25-and-under, Rotary cage meetings set

Officials of the ongoing BANMI 25-and-under Basketball League and the upcoming 2005 Saipan Rotary Club Summer Youth Basketball League will hold important meetings this Tuesday at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium conference room.
According to BANMI official Elias Rangamar, all teams must have a representative present at the 25-and-under meeting at 6pm.
Rangamar said the upcoming playoffs format will be the main issue discussed at the meeting, and input from team representatives is mandatory.
Playoffs for the 2005 season is scheduled to begin in the coming week.
Meanwhile, Rangamar said all interested teams for the upcoming 2005 Rotary league must have a coach or team representative present at the 12pm meeting.
The tentative date for the kick off of this year’s season is set for June 20 at the Ada Gym.
Rangamar added that interested teams must begin organizing their squads, securing sponsors, and ordering uniforms. Teams without uniforms at the start of the season will not be eligible to play.
