The Emergency Management Office, together with the Naval Forces Marianas, is reminding the public that the U.S. military is currently conducting aerial and live-fire training exercises at Farallon De Mendenilla.

Live-fire training continues today from 8am to 7pm, while an aerial overflight involving no weapons will be conducted tomorrow from 8am to 7pm.

An aerial survey will then be conducted on May 23 from 8am to 1pm.

“The general location of these activity will be on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla training area from 15,000 feet mean sea level on a 10-nautical mile radius on all quadrants,” EMO said.

The public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators, are urged to stay away from the site during these dates and times due to the danger imposed by the activities.
