Clarification on archaeological contract

I offer further clarification and facts regarding the letter titled Scapegoat. First, it is true that the amount $556,000 has been misrepresented. The archaeological company has only a small portion of the said amount. The full amount involves everything related to archaeological work but not necessarily to the archaeological company. Secondly, this additional archaeological cost has not been part of the inception of the project’s budget, causing a budget shortfall. There is no intention to insinuate or present a “scapegoat.” We are just merely presenting a fact which was misrepresented. Finally, in the future, I wish you would select a more appropriate heading, rather than having one that merely wants to get the public’s attention.
