Transamerica seminar highlights Boysen paints
To help its clients maximize the benefits of using Boysen products, Transamerica (Saipan) Corp. organized and co-sponsored a seminar for painters and contractors, which taught them techniques in applying paint products on various surfaces.
Transamerica is the CNMI’s exclusive distributor of Boysen, the leading name in paint products in the Philippines.
Some 130 participants joined the seminar that was conducted by representatives from Boysen Philippines, Inc. at the Pacific Islands Club last Sunday.
The Boysen representatives included Romy Bautista and Vergel Dyoco, technical services and project management manager and supervisor, respectively.
They explained that Boysen has a unique formulation that is suitable for tropical climate such as that of the CNMI’s. “It [Boysen paints] is of better quality when compared with other brands in the market,” according to Transamerica.
The seminar also taught participants techniques in addressing paint project problems and oriented them on some new Boysen products. The DECORe paint serves as an alternative to wall paper; and Skimkote, to cement plaster. Other new products include the Lo-Odor Permacoat Latex, an odorless type of paint, and the Permacoat Wallguard, which is suitable for exterior application.
The seminar also featured audio-visual presentations on Boysen’s new products lines and painting techniques.
Located on Middle Road, Chalan LauLau, Transamerica began operating its hardware and construction supplies business in 1981. The company has been the exclusive distributor of Boysen paints in the CNMI for more than a decade, since the early 1990s.
