SSS’ new youth futsal league starts Thursday

Saipan Soccer School will start its new youth futsal league on Dec. 15 and will last for three weeks until Jan. 8, 2012.

There will be three youth divisions-U18 Boys, U15 Boys, and U17 Girls. Teams are limited to four in each division, and teams should provide jersey numbers for easier identification of each player.

Due to a limitation of teams that can play in this league, registration deadline is on Dec. 13, 2011 and is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Games will have two equal periods of 20 minutes, timeouts of 1 minute, and halftimes of 5 minutes. Saipan Soccer School emphasizes that all games must always start on time and encourages coaches and support personnel to ensure that all team members are present and equipped to play.

There is a $10 registration fee per player. Registration and waiver forms are available at the Saipan Soccer School office at the 2nd Floor JP Center or contact Mae Ito at 287-3607 for more information. (SSS)
