Serves up at Hyatt Regency Saipan

Beach volleyball players will get a chance to burn extra pounds they put on during the recent holiday binge on the first Sunday of the New Year.
The 6th Annual Club Elan Christmas Volleyball Classic kicks off on Jan. 2, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Saipan sand court.
The tournament is being organized by Club Elan and sponsored by Pacific Trading Co. and Miller Lite.
Action gets underway at 9:30am following the 9am registration—there’s no pre-registration requirement. Cost of entry is $15 per persons with members of the Northern Marianas Islands Volleyball Association getting a $5 discount.
Club Elan, PTC, and Miller Lite have prepared cash and in-kind prizes for the top teams of the Christmas Volleyball Classic.
Participants of the tournament also get free access to the Club Elan Spa and Fitness Centre in the duration of the competition. They also get a 20 percent discount on food and beverages at both Splash and Skipper’s beachside bar, and 30-40 percent discounts on massages for the day.
Club Elan manager Faheem Ebrahim said that a portion of the proceeds from the tournament would go towards NMIVA’s efforts to send a team to the South Pacific Mini Games next July.
