PIC names oustanding employees for Dec.
Pacific Islands Club Saipan honors its outstanding employees for December and congratulates them for their exceptional efforts and dedication to the PIC team.
Izumi Kawakami was awarded December’s Front of the House Employee of the Month. She began her carreer with PIC in April 2003 as a Clubmate. She was recently promoted to Beach/Kids’ Club Captain in the Sports, Entertainment & Activities (SEA) Department. Both positions utilize her language skills, which consist of English, Japanese and some Korean. Izumi’s positive and upbeat attitude makes her one of PIC’s exceptional staff.
Mike David was named December’s Heart of the House Employee of the Month. Mike began his career in July 1998 as a steward in the Culinary Department. Mike goes out of his way to be friendly to his co-workers as well as employees in all departments. He diligently fulfills his responsibilities and never hesitates to volunteer when extra help is needed. In addition, he regularly attends and positively contributes to employee activities such as beach clean ups. PIC congratulates Mike for his significant contribution to PIC.
Curtis Wilson became Supervisor of the 4th Quarter. Curtis first came to PIC in September 2000 for nine months as a Clubmate and returned in October 2002. Curtis just completed his first year as the Waterpark Supervisor in the SEA Department. He has excelled in ensuring his area is clean and all equipment runs properly. When Curtis is not working, he can be found taking photographs around the PIC property and company sponsored functions. Curtis receives this well deserved award for his untiring zest and commitment.
Dennis Tababa earned the Manager of the 4th Quarter recognition last week. Dennis began his career with PIC in August 1996 as a Clubmate and for the past two years, Dennis has been Entertainment/Administrative Manager in the SEA Department. He is also a certified Red Cross CPR/Lifeguard instructor. All guests, staff and management can see Dennis’ warm hospitality and professionalism. Most recently, his creativity and energy was displayed at the infamous Clubmate Halloween show which drew a substantial crowd with standing room only.
