Business owners and managers interested in increasing their profitability are urged to attend a business growth seminar tomorrow.
Sponsored by the Northern Marianas College-Cooperative Research Extension & Education Service, the seminar will be held at the NMC campus, Room D-1, from 8am to 12nn Friday.
Organizers said the four-hour workshop will focus on efficient business processes, building an organization for growth, and targeted marketing.
Speakers will be William A. Wiedmann and Martin N. Parisien of the Hawaii-based consulting firm, High Technology Development Corp.
Wiedmann graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and finished his master’s degree in business administration at the University of Hawaii.

Parisien holds a bachelor’s degree in Japanese language and literature from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii.
He has been an entrepreneur for the past 18 years, during which he has either developed businesses to sell or turned around failing businesses. During the past five years, Parisien has been primarily involved in marketing value-added agricultural products.
The business growth seminar is free and open to the public.
