Purse snatcher sought by police
Police are currently investigating a robbery incident that occurred Tuesday night, Dec. 14, at the parking lot of the Sun Leader store along Beach Road, San Antonio.
Department of Public Safety spokesman PO2 Eric F. David said the female victim, 34-year-old Mei Yu Zhou, had just finished shopping at the establishment at about 9:40pm. She had proceeded to her vehicle and secured her shopping bags in the back seat. While waiting for her driver on the front passenger seat, she noticed a hand reaching into the car and grabbing her purse, which was hanging on her left arm.

The victim told responding officers that the suspect ran away, heading south from the scene, taking with him a pink purse containing about $500.
The incident was reported at about 10:48pm.
