Four ballet masters and a young ballet student from Russia joined ballerina Ana Glushko and her students in three nights of sold-out performances at the Multi Purpose Center starting last Friday.

Perm State Theater of Opera and Ballet’s Tatiana Bolshuhina and Nikolai Kalabin led over 50 students of the Glushko’s Academy of Performing Arts in a staging of the Christmas classic “The Nutcracker.” Eleven-year-old Daniela Kurynova played the part of Clara.

Following immediately was a concert of the Russian Ballet Stars, which featured Bolshuhina and Kalabin in addition to Liudmila Teleus and Daniil Kurynov of the Saratov Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet.
