NMASA MEETING TOMORROW

The Northern Marianas Amateur Sports Association will hold its monthly meeting at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium conference room tomorrow beginning at 6:30pm.

NMASA president Mike White said the agenda for this month’s meeting will be the 2005 Palau South Pacific Mini Games, selection of October Athletes of the Month, and other regular business.

White also said that all sports federations intending to send athletes to the Mini Games must have a representative at the meeting.

JUNIOR GOLF TOURNEY NEXT MONTH

The Northern Marianas Junior Golf League, in cooperation with the Guam Junior Golf League and the Shich Su Yin Scholarship, will be hold the Shieh Su Ying Junior Golf Championship on Nov. 27 at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.

The tournament is open to all junior golfers of the CNMI and Guam between the ages of 7 and 18 years old.

Application forms are available at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort, Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort, and at the Law Office of Edward Manibusan in Fina Sisu.

Entry fee is $15 for 7-10-year-olds and $30 for 11-18-year-olds. Deadline for submission of entries is Nov. 13.
