The favorite billiards venue of the island’s slickest pool players will be reviving its hugely popular Tuesday billiards tournament starting next month.

Corner Pocket’s Tuesday 8-Ball Tournament will kick off on Nov. 2 starting 8pm. Participants must fork over $15 to enter the double-elimination competition. Progressive pot for 8-ball in a break will apply and the rules of the Billiards Congress of America will be enforced.

Ladies will also be given a handicap and players are given free practice rounds before the tournament starts provided they buy drinks from the bar. First place is assured half of the total entrance fee with runner-up and third places also coming home with cash prizes. The Top 3 will also receive Budweiser giveaways from MARPAC.

Corner Pocket’s Tuesday 8-Ball Tournament can host a maximum of 16 players. For more information on the upcoming weekly pool competition, please contact Ken Phillips at 233-POOL (7665). (Mark Rabago)
