We have come of age

Hooray for Honorable Rep. Claudio Norita. I’ve watched the evolution of our islands politically since 1963. I’ve been proud to be a part of this maturation process. It has taken a huge economic recession for our people to recognize that entirely too much money is being spent on governing this small island commonwealth. Representative Norita has put into Legislative Initiative 14-8 the words that have long needed to be said. Saving $3.2 million from the legislative process with no negative effects and providing these funds for PSS, Public Safety, Public Health and infrastructure maintenance will make us all better off and proud to live here. Hopefully, similar cuts in the Executive and Judicial branches can also materialize.

Legislators, Support Representative Norita in his request. Voters, vote in favor of this initiative when it gets on the ballot.
