Four Continental Connection flights are cancelled today

Four Continental Connection flights will be cancelled due to expected weather conditions today.
Citing weather forecasts, Continental Micronesia yesterday announced that the cancellation will affect two flights numbered 9601, and flight nos. 9388 and 9389—all between Guam and the Northern Marianas.
Continental also issued notice of modifications in the schedule of its Continental Connection service.
Freedom Air, which also services the route, said there are no changes in its flight schedule as of 7pm yesterday. The Saipan Tribune tried but failed to reach the other carrier servicing the route, Pacific Island Aviation, for any flight information.
At 2pm yesterday, Continental said it plans to operate a regular international flight schedule in and out of Saipan and Guam this morning.
“Continental will continue to monitor the movements of Typhoon Nock-ten and any flight schedule changes will be announced via media outlets,” the airline said.
Continental also urged passengers to listen to news reports, as additional flight schedule changes will be announced through local media outlets.
Passengers needing additional information should call 671-647-6453 on Guam or 670-234-6492 on Saipan.
“Please note that due to an anticipated high call volume during this time, the reservation lines may be engaged when you call. Continental kindly requests your patience and recommends you continue to call reservations until you reach an agent,” the carrier said.
