Night of recreation returns to Camp Hyatt
Children and parents alike have reason to celebrate TGIF this week, as Camp Hyatt is bringing back an evening of fun and frolic that is sure to be a hit with the whole family when Parent’s Night returns.
According to Camp Hyatt team leader Megan Kinney, parents can bring their children, between the ages of 4-12, to the Hyatt at 5:30pm on Friday, Oct. 22. While there, the children will participate in a number of sporting activities, to include swimming, tennis, games, and a scavenger hunt.
Parent’s Night originally started in Saipan in November of 2003, and after the success of September’s revival, Camp Hyatt is ready to provide a night of high-energy activities to all involved. The good news for everyone in the family is that they will be continuing the fun for kids and parents every month.
Mom and dad will have the next three hours to enjoy on their own before returning to the Hyatt to pick up their children at 8:30pm.
The cost for Parent’s Night is $15 per child, and includes a choice of dinner for all of the children. The menu for the feast includes a choice of spaghetti with garlic bread, or French Fries and fruit with chicken nuggets, a hamburger, a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, and a hot dog.
In keeping with the camping theme, the children will have roasted s’mores for dessert. Kids should also be sure to bring their swimming suit and a change of clothes with them.
Though pre-registration is not required, parents are recommended to do so the Club Elan reception desk or by contacting Megan by calling 234-1234 ext. 25.
