We, the residents of Lau Lau Heights Development, would like to thank you very sincerely for deploying your staff to our humble corner of Saipan so quickly after the last set of typhoons passed. The 0.6-mile hilly, curving, and unpaved road that connects Back Road to our compound had been damaged by the heavy rains and high winds, with axle-breaking potholes enlarged and an embankment over a ravine dangerously washed away. Because your crew immediately brought several truckloads of coral, and took the time to roll the coral, our road was not only passable but even smooth for the first time in a while. We have man’amko and man’hoben living here, as well as famaguon’ta, and we are all appreciative and grateful. I believe that many of us are voters in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and we shall remember this timely and positive attention from your office when we head to the polls in November.
