Education Commissioner Rita H. Inos has determined that all public schools, with the exception of Garapan, Koblerville, Tanapag and Oleai Elementary Schools and Marianas High School, will be reopened and begin accepting students on Monday, Aug. 30. However, should heavy rains persist over the weekend, San Vicente Elementary School will remain closed.

As for those schools not opening on Monday, the Commissioner, in consultation with the principals, will make a determination on Monday, Aug. 30, as to the reopening date.

On an as-needed-basis, the PSS will update any new development through the radio over the weekend.

The Board of Education and the Public School System extends its appreciation to the students, parents, teachers and school administrators for their patience and cooperation during the past week.
