Thanks, MPLA

MPLA has been under a lot of pressure from all levels of the community, self included, but at the same time they should be commended for making the hard decision. If the job was easy, anyone could do it and that is why these special people were chosen to serve. It was obvious that the board was under considerable pressure, based on the statements of the chairwoman and other members. The concerns raised by the board were well founded and it was very obvious they want to do the right thing and that is what matters most.

MPLA has put forth a legitimate effort to resolve this issue and hopefully their decision will be acceptable to Azmar and the citizens of the CNMI. Thanks, MPLA board members, for keeping hope alive and you can be assured that your efforts are truly appreciated by many people in the Commonwealth. I’m sure our leaders who pushed you to expedite the permit, to the average citizen that wants to get their tax on time, among other things, are happy with your decision. One people, one direction.
