CHC hires pediatrician
A Colorado-based pediatrician has moved to the CNMI to become the newest member of the Department of Public Health family.
In a statement issued yesterday, the department said it welcomes the entry of Dr. Joe Livingston to the CHC family of doctors. Livingston will be working through the Children’s Clinic located in the Commonwealth Health Center.
Livingston started his career as a computer science professional before he decided to attend medical school in Oregon. He completed the program there and met his wife who is also a physician. From there Livingston moved to Houston, Texas, where he completed his medical residency and also received a masters in Public Health.
Livingston enjoy mountain biking, and traveling, and is an avid runner. “My wife and I have completed the New York marathon, which was a pretty amazing chapter in my life,” Livingston recently said.
Livingston will be available through the Children’s Clinic located at the CHC. Appointments can be made to see the doctor by calling 236-8374.
“The DPH would like to thank Dr. Livingston for joining our community as a physician healer, and offer him a warm welcome to the Commonwealth,” the department statement said.
