Some 39 kindergarten students will soon be part of the San Antonio Elementary School first grade lineup next school year after a promotion ceremony at the school grounds yesterday morning.

With parents, family members, and teachers witnessing the event, the students put on a show to remember them by, successfully performing several numbers including the Otso Otso and Pamela dances, which drew heavy applause from all directions.

The group also sang I’m Going to My Graduation and Busy Days.

The kindergarten cast also performed a special number that featured greetings in various languages, including Carolinian, Chamorro, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Tagalog, and Bangladeshi.

The students were also presented with awards that marked their official farewell to the kindergarten level. They were all commended for their efforts throughout the school year.

The two teachers responsible for the students were Chibora Wasisang and Lorraine Babauta.
