Mid-Pac: 20 years and still growing
For over 20 years, Mid-Pac Micronesia has established a name for itself by providing automotive parts, heavy equipment, equipment care products, and technical service in the region.
According to Mid-Pac assistant manager Ricky L. Itaas, the company, under its new management, bases its business on its service to the customers.
“This is a customer-oriented business,” he said. “Customer service is our business and is always our priority. We’re here to cater to the needs of our customers with our huge inventory of parts.”
Itaas said Mid-Pac is currently the exclusive distributor of various equipment, including Cummins/Onan generators, John Deer equipment, Detroit Diesel engines, Allison transmissions, Kenworth trucks, Stone Construction equipment, Daewoo heavy duty equipment, and Fleetguard filters.
The company also distributes complete auto and car care products including Armor-All, STP, Prolong chemicals, NAPA auto and trucks parts, and Preston coolants.
Itaas said the company continues to grow as more parts and equipment will be featured in the future.
“We have so much to offer at a competitive price. We will bring in more products because the more inventory, the better service we can provide the customers. We try to grow the business in spite of our ailing economy,” he said.
Itaas also stressed the positive partnership the company provides customers.
“We stand behind our products. People still matter the most even after they buy our products. We have a servicing department that supports our sale. If something needs servicing, we have certified and trained technicians to assist them. People can bring in equipment and we will help them find the problem, what is needed to address the problem, and what’s best to be done. We go that extra mile for our customers. We won’t leave you hanging.”
Itaas said the company also markets its products to mom-and-pop stores and gas stations on island.
“We help our other retail outlets,” he said. “Yes, we sell our products to them, but we also assist with sponsorships, just like the one we did with the Mobil gas station on Middle Road.”
Mid-Pac assisted the Mobil station during their new management grand opening, providing giveaways as part of their commitment and contribution to customers.
Itaas added that Mid-Pac will hold a big tent sale on June 11 and 12, and urges everyone to take advantage of the event, which will feature special deals, dropped prices, and giveaways.
Mid-Pac’s business hours are 8-5pm from Mondays to Saturdays. It is located south of Highway Market on Middle Road, Gualo Rai.
