The Northern Marianas College Cooperative Research, Extension & Education Service will be holding a second two-day workshop on Shrimp Production in the CNMI.

It will be held Thursday, May 20, and Friday, May 21, at NMC’s As Terlaje Campus, Building A, Room 10. This free workshop begins at 9am and ends at 4pm.

Because of the high demand by CNMI residents interested to start farming shrimp, NMC is offering this workshop a second time. Mike Ogo, Aquaculture Specialist, will teach participants how to grow freshwater and saltwater shrimp, either as a hobby or business.

There is no deadline to register, and the workshop is free. However, seating is limited. For more information about the second shrimp production workshop, contact Ross Manglona at 287-0562 or Dr. Smith at 287-0558.
