Continental Micronesia and Massachusetts-based Cape Air are scheduled to begin their air service partnership between Guam and Rota on July 1.

The commuter service, which will operate as Continental Connection, or CO Connection, will use aircraft owned and operated by Cape Air, Continental Micronesia announced in a press release.

“We fly out of seven cities in Japan, and traffic from these cities will certainly bring an influx of visitors to the CNMI for day trips,” Continental Micronesia President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Erwin said in the press release.

“All of us at Cape Air are very excited about our latest joint venture with Continental Airlines,” said Cape Air President Dan Wolf.

Plans for CO Connection service in the Pacific will include flights between Guam and Saipan.

To book travel on CO Connection, customers can contact their travel agent or Continental Reservations. On Guam, call 671-647-6453. On Saipan, call 670-234-6492. On Rota, call 1-866-359-6453 (FLY-MIKE).

Continental Airlines and Cape Air have an agreement to provide commuter air service in and around Florida and the Caribbean, the press release states. (PDN/PIR)
