The Rotary Club of Saipan will set up booths in different venues to sell tickets for this year’s Las Vegas Night slated for May 5 at the Fiesta Resort & Spa in Garapan.
Rotary secretary Laila Boyer said on Tuesday that they will have a booth on Saturday, April 14, at the Sabalu Market, Civic Center grounds in Susupe and during the 31st Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival on April 20 to 22 also at the Civic Center.
Boyer said they are still negotiating with the 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer committee if they could have a booth during the event on April 27 to 28 at the Hopwood Jr. High School field in Chalan Piao.
Additionally, Boyer said each Rotarian will also be tasked to sell tickets to Las Vegas Night, which will have a Cinco de Mayo theme this year.
Boyer disclosed that the 2012 Las Vegas Night grand prize winner can choose between cash prize or a brand new car from Triple J Motors.
Rotary president Pete Igitol, for his part, urged Rotarians to help sell more tickets for the event, the proceeds for which will go to their funds for the Kagman children’s playground.
“This is our last fundraiser for this Rotary year and we need to make some money. I know the stakes are high but we need to do all that we can. Ask your fellow Rotarians and friends to come and help,” said Igitol.
