Docomo Pacific donates $1K to MMAC

Docomo Pacific is supporting the 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer by donating $1,000 to the cancer awareness cause.
The donation has earned Docomo Pacific a major sponsorship title in the biggest cancer fundraising event in the CNMI. Major sponsorship is conferred on companies that donate $1,000 to $2,999 in cash or services.
“The 2012 MMAC committee is extremely grateful to the staff and management of Docomo Pacific for their support in the battle against cancer. We commend their efforts in supporting this worthy cause,” said MMAC overall committee chair Catherine Attao-Toves.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Commonwealth Cancer Association’s signature fundraising event to be held at the Hopwood Jr. High School field in Chalan Piao on April 27 to 28 from 6pm to 6am. Attao-Toves said they have 16 teams working hard to sell luminaries at $5 each. The community can also support the event by purchasing raffle tickets, also at $5 each, which will be drawn during the event.
