Jonny’s Bar & Grill’s IT&E Voyagers are clinging to a two-game lead in the Agingan division while Joe’s Steakhouse’s Fotten Palau holds a six-game cushion in the Obyan field after last week’s games in the Saipan Billiards Association Budweiser Open 8-Ball League.

IT&E Voyagers romped Jonny’s Team SCS (64-72), 14-3, in an inter-league home draw to improve their record to 107-29. The third-ranked New Saipan Aluminum’s (85-51) Hustlers helped the frontrunners stay in the lead after the latter pulled off an upset over the Docomo Pacific Homeboyz (105-31), 9-8, at Utopia Sports Bar.

In other Agingan results, the fourth-ranked Bammy’s Restaurant & Bar’s IT&E Incredibles (84-52) mounted an 11-6 victory over Obyan’s Shark Attack (63-73), of Wild Bill’s Bar & Grill, dropping the latter in fourth place, while Joe’s Ocean Warriors (70-66) defeated 19th Hole’s Poksu (49-87), 11-6, in an inter-league home match.

Obyan leader Fotten Palau went to Poseidon and downed Yang Ku (54-82), 11-6, to improve to a 72-64 record.

Notably, 19th Hole Bar’s Titans (66-70) dunked The Waterfront, 15-2, at home to move up to second place, while Crazy 8 (62-74) minced up a shorthanded Bammy’s Boom Boom (36-100), 17-0, at Jonny’s.
