Island Apparel’s Oh MG! defeated third-ranked VFW Post 3457’s Party Rock (52-38), 9-6, in a road match last Wednesday to tie Jonny’s Bar & Grill’s Sparks atop the team standings in the C division of the Saipan Electronic Dart Association’s Winter/Summer 2012 Bud Light Dart League
Island Apparel’s Oh MG! and Jonny’s Bar & Grill’s Sparks hold similar 54-36 records after the latter was stunned by seventh-ranked Shooters V2 (37-53), 8-7 last week.
SOS Bar & Grill’s Mixblood Shooters II, Jonny’s Try Luck, The Sea Bridge 80 Proofers and Ali’I Kamotes led the A, Ladies, Tuesday-B, and Master fields as the SEDA 2012 season continued last week.
In other C division results, Bammy’s Restaurant & Bar’s DRP (46-44) triumphed over Oceanside’s Shooters V1 (45-45), 10-5, at home and Naked Fish’s Hafa Mas! (40-50) edged Hole Bar’s Hole In One (25-65), 8-7, in a home pairing.
Mixblood II feasted on VFW’s bottom feeder Primos (36-66), 14-3, on the road to improve to a 62-40 record. Five games back comes Bammy’s Bud Brothers (57-45) who escaped past sister-rival Sabalu (54-48), 9-8, in a home draw, while Bammy’s Celebrity (49-53) stunned Naked Fish Bar’s Naked Fish Boyz (54-48), 10-7, on the road. SOS’101 Proofers (51-51) defeated Sand’s Juvy Predators (47-57), 12-5, at home.
Try Luck downed VFW’s second-ranked B-52 Shooters (56-34), 9-6, at home to extend its lead in the Ladies field to 12 games; Try Luck improved a 68-22 card.
Naked Fish’s Man-Amigas (56-34) are tied with the B-52’s for second place after routing Joe’s Daffodils (33-57), 11-4, on the road; 19th Hole’s Team Reapers (38-52) barely got away from visiting Daarty Deedz (26-64), 8-7; and Joe’s fourth ranked Just Like Dat (47-43) bested Bammy’s Momes’I Mei (36-54), 10-5, in a road match.
The 80 Proofers defeated Naked Fish’s Dartaholiks, 10-5, on Tuesday to improve to a 58-32 mark, but cling to the top spot by just two games after SOS’s Mixblood Shooters III (56-34) roasted Jonny’s Dosukebe Boys (40-50), 12-3, at home; Third-ranked Naked Fish’s Na’Gupu Too (55-35) torched Good Guys (32-58), 14-1, at Joe’s. Jonny’s Star Maharot (44-46) defeated Poseidon’s K-1 Scorpions, 10-5, at home.
Notables include a High In 120 by 80 Proofers’ Rolly Bermiso and a High Out 110 by Star Maharot’s Ronald De Ramos.
Ali’I Kamotes toppled VFW’s D’Companeros (35-67), 12-5, in a road match to move up to 65-47 card. Second place Bammy’s Aces (60-42) trail by a handful after defeating SOS’s Destroyers (48-54), 10-7, at home. There is a tie for third place between SOS’s All Stars (56-46) and VFW’s Maharot Crew (56-46), who survived Bammy’s Sabalu Boyz (42-60) and SOS’s Mixblood Rookies (46-56), respectively.
