Kagman High School calendar of events

– April 2: Final Exam. Half-day schedule. Students will be dismissed at 1pm

– April 3: Final Exam. Half-day schedule. Student will be dismissed at 1pm

– April 4: Make-Up Day. Regular schedule. Student dismissal at 2:50pm. End of 3r Quarter

– April 5-9: Spring break, no classes

– April 10: Classes resume (regular schedule); Add and drop day.

– April 11-12: Star Reading/Math Assessment

CCA board to meet on April

The Commonwealth Cancer Association’s board of directors will be holding its monthly meeting on April 3, 2012, Tuesday, at 8am in the CCA conference room in Gualo Rai. The agenda includes reports from the president, steering committees, program manager, MMAC 2012, and program and project updates. All board meetings are open to the public. Casino initiative on Marianas Agupa

Tomorrow, March 31, 2012, Marianas Agupa will feature Rep. Stanley Torres who talk about the casino initiative and ongoing signature drive. Torres will go on from 10am to 10:30am on Magic 100.3 FM. The radio show itself is from 9am to 11am. Listeners on Saipan, Tinian and Rota and those listening via Internet streaming are encouraged to call in and ask questions during the show. Direct calls to studio at 234-5929 or use Marianas Agupa’s Facebook account via instant messaging.

The Chamorro radio talk show program is hosted by Glenn H. Manglona. It also features reports by former mayor Joseph S. Inos, Rota correspondent Thomas D. Mendiola, and Tinian commentator David M. Cing, in addition to a special segment called Hafa Mohon with Juanita Mendiola,. Simultaneous Internet streaming via www.magic100radio.com will be available. (PR)

Lost dog

Snow White, a small white Maltese dog, is missing from Garapan. She was last seen on Tuesday afternoon near 747 Restaurant in Garapan. A $100 reward is being offered for her safe return. Please contact Eden Villagomez for information at (670) 789-8621. (PR)

Found dog

A female adult Golden Retriever has been found in the Papago area. She’s seems to be in good health other than being dehydrated and skinny. If this is your dog or you know whose dog she might be, please contact Sandy Weaver at 989-2502. (PR)
