Mobil Oil official to keynote next Chamber meeting

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will be having its next general membership meeting on April 4, 2012, at the Saipan Grand Hotel, with keynote speaker Jaime Andres Ortega I, president and country manager for Mobil Oil Micronesia, an ExxonMobil subsidiary.

Ortega will present an overview of the CNMI fuel supply process, the determining factors behind current gas pricing, and comments addressing House Bill 17-238’s risks of fuel regulation.

Also presenting to the SCC membership will be Superior Court Associate Judge David Wiseman, co-chair of the SCC Armed Forces Committee, with a status report on the Guam military buildup, and James Arenovski introducing the Bridge Project.

Luncheon will begin at 11:30am and meeting will begin at 12pm. SCC Members and company representatives are charged a $20 luncheon fee, while guests and non-SCC attendees are charged $30.

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1959 and incorporated in 1976, is the largest private business organization in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. (SCC)
