Golf resort supports youth, elderly

For the second year in a row, Kingfisher Golf Links marks the new year with donations to Commonwealth youth and Man’amko programs.

Kingfisher General Manager Naotsugu Suzuki made a personal presentation of a check worth $1,358.16 to the CNMI Scholarship Office Advisory Board, Thursday (January 18).

Suzuki said the money was collected over the last year in a donation boxes at the golf resort and comes from Kingfisher guests, players and staff members. He added the donation is one of the golf resort’s ways of expressing it’s appreciation to the CNMI.

According to Suzuki, an equal donation will also be made to the Office of Aging. Kingfisher contributed $1,100.00 to each program last year.
