Stupid idea

The idea to have a “fee simple” on all properties leased to outside investors is a stupid idea. Why? Those properties belong to the people of the Commonwealth collectively. It is the individual, privately-owned properties that should be allowed to sell to whoever they want “fee simple.” The government properties that belong to the people of the CNMI collectively should not transferred to outsiders without the consent of the people. It is stupid for any administration to do that. Article 12 is stupid. I do not want the government to tell me what to do with my own private property. I should be allowed to sell my property to any U.S. citizen. Get rid of Article 12, we are not babies that need baby sitting. It is the government that should not be allowed to sell the people’s property. Public land belongs to the people, not the administration. That is where the general idea of article 12 should be applied and not on individual privately-owned properties.
