Former DPS official charged with rape
The Attorney General’s Office has formally filed charges of oral copulation and rape before the Superior Court against former Department of Public Safety Deputy Commissioner Lino Sablan Tenorio.
Mr. Tenorio was accused of raping his 27-year-old stepdaughter in their Dandan residence on Nov. 8, 2000. Superior Court Associate Judge Timothy H. Bellas ordered him release in the custody of his mother on a $25,000 unsecured bond.
According to a police report, the victim was sleeping when she suddenly woke up and felt Mr. Tenorio on top of her, kissing her body and forcing himself to her.
Before the incident, the victim joined a drinking session with friends of the family in her stepfather’s residence. When Mr. Tenorio arrived from fishing at around 8:00 p.m., the victim decided to go to sleep.
A few hours after she went to bed, the victim said she was sexually attacked by the stepfather.
Hotel worker accused of theft
Charges of burglary, conspiracy and theft were filed yesterday by the Attorney General’s Office against Nieto Agustin Liang, 29, and Romeo Ducha Reyes, 28.
Mr. Reyes works as waiter at Dai-Ichi Hotel. The two allegedly took an amplifier and karaoke mixer owned by the hotel.
Meanwhile, the AGO filed theft charges against Akira Tebuteb Holis, 20, for taking the car cassette tape player of Joe Borja and the vehicle owned by Donald Palacios on Nov. 13, 2000.
