DFW deploys more FADs

The Division of Fish and Wildlife has deployed navigational bouys which serve as Fish Aggregating Devices for local fishermen. The devices are constructed of Fiberglass Cylindrical in shape and painted in yellow. The devices have been fitted with a photo sensor lighting system that flashes very five from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The DFW is also asking the cooperation of all mariners to submit a catch report for each FAD and any other information pertaining to the condition of the FAD. This information is very important in the success of this project.
