Man meddles in
son’s fight; arrested
Forty-two-year-old Vicente T. Camacho will do anything for his son. Mr. Camacho found himself in deep trouble when he meddled with the fight of his young son with another kid in Garapan last Sunday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Rose Ada said Mr. Camacho went to the kid’s house carrying a machete. He walked up to the kid’s mother brandishing a machete and even pushed the terrified woman.
He pounded the table with the machete and pointed it to the woman’s neck.
Luckily, a family member of Mr. Camacho was able to pull him away from the victim. Police was called and arrested Mr. Camacho who was later on charged with disturbing the peace, assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.
Two held for marijuana possession
Two men were arrested for alleged possession of illegal substance last Saturday at around 1:36 a.m. in USP Club in Chalan Laulau.
A witness called up the police to report Raymond Mendiola Bermudes, 49, and Francisco Wesley Torres, 49 , who were believed to be smoking marijuana. The witness allegedly smelled the marijuana in the club apparently coming from the two men who were smoking.
Police did not say the amount of marijuana confiscated during the arrest.
Traffic violator charged
for threatening cop
It was supposed to be a simple traffic case but Joseph A Crisostomo made things worse when he opposed the investigation being conducted by a police officer four months ago.
Assistant Attorney General Clyde Lemons has charged before the Superior Court Mr. Crisostomo of assault and battery, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice. Court records showed that on March 21, 2000, Mr. Crisostomo even threatened to shoot Police Officer Charles Patris and hit him while he was investigating a traffic case.
