Hyatt facility offers much for young campers
Amongst many field trips around the island, the kids at Camp Hyatt have enjoyed touring and observing the operations of the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
One day per every two-week session, the children have been involved with a tour of the hotel property. They have been able to learn and understand that the Hyatt Regency Saipan operates as a team to achieve success. The highlights of these tours have been the campers observing the skilled pastry chefs, learning culinary skills, and walking through the green house.
During each session, participants have been able to utilize the Hyatt’s beautiful property with garden walks, garden calisthenics, garden picnics, and multiple feeding activities for the hotels’ exotic fish.
“The beauty of the salt water lagoon continues to mesmerize our campers,” says camps coordinator Gloria Miller.
“Our hotel property is so incredible with lush native plants and tree’s that are fun and easy to teach the children about.”
One of the activities that has been incorporated into this program is weaving coconut leaves. Some of the camp counselors have been practicing these different techniques for years, which is now being passed on to the campers at Camp Hyatt.
Camp Hyatt is starting its fifth, two-week session on July 24th. So, for as low as $150, parents can enroll their child while slots are still open. For more information, please call Club Elan at 234-1234 ext. 25/27.
