RP hikes immigration fees

The Philippines government has adjusted rates for all immigration and alien registration fees since late last year, according to a media statement from the country’s consular office in the Northern Marianas.

The Philippine Consulate said the new immigration and alien registration fees have been implemented since November last year.

Fees for Waiver of Exclusion Ground under the Philippine Immigration Act for foreign children under 15 years of age, unaccompanied by or not coming with a parent are:

*Application fee P2,000.00

*WEG fee P 600.00

*Service Fee P 500.00

*LRF P 30.00

*Express lane Fee P 500.00

Fees for those seeking recognition as
Filipinos are will be asked to pay P1,010 in application fee; Express lane fee is P500 while Identification Certificate is P3,010.

The new rates for conversion of status are P2,000 for filing fee; P10 for LRF; Express Lane Fee is P500; and implementation fee, P1,000. Extension of Special Non-immigrants filing fee is P1,000; LRF, 10; Express Lane Fee, 500; and implementation fee P500.
