Four-run rule victories were recorded in last week’s Chamolinian Softball Association’s 2012 Budweiser Softball League games at the Capitall Hill Ballfiled.

Last Wednesday, the G-Balllers rolled over X-clusive, 21-10, and Manelos thumped Managaha, 22-5, while runners-up Natibu pummeled the Warriors in last Friday’s men’s game, 17-6. In the women’s division, defending champion Sakudi took the field and routed Enamo Meta , 20-10. In other results in the men’s division, Six Pack bested Talu Fahn, 10-5.

Natibu 17, Warriors 6

Natibu went to work early and jolted in front, 14-3. The first two runs came from errors and after a sacrifice fly by Ned Norita, Natibu set the stage for a grand slam by Bruce Norita

Oscar Secharmedal and Dustin Quitano had RBI singles and Ken Kalen brought them home with a home run. Jerome Delos Santos then snuck in a solo shot and crossed the plate off an error.

The Warriors held Natibu for the next two innings and managed to sprinkle in a few runs here and there, but could not ignite a rally. Natibu added three runs in the bottom of the fourth before securing the run rule victory in the fifth inning.

Six Pack 10, Talu Fahn 5

After breaking the ice with a pair of runs in the opening frame, Six Pack moved ahead, 5-0, in the top of the fourth off a solo shot, an error, and a fielder’s choice.

Talu Fahn rallied back in the bottom frame with four runs built from a RBI base hit by Rick Babauta and a three-run homer by Floyd Dela Cruz. But Six Pack fired back with two more runs in the fifth inning off errors and a sacrifice fly.

G-Ballers 21, X-clusive 10

The G-Ballers held control, 11-6, after three innings and their top of the lineup gashed X-clusive with another nine runs in the top of the fourth inning.

Jason Manning cleared the bases with a three-RBI double, Asap D. smashed a 3-run homer and McQueen H. bagged an RBI single.

X-clusive only answered with three runs in the bottom frame and teams traded runs in the fifth inning. Talu Fahn’s offense dwindled in the late innings and was stuffed to just a run in its final stand. Six Pack went on to add three more runs to its lead in the top of the seventh frame.

Manelos 22, Managaha 5

The Manelos managed an early 7-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back.

Managaha mustered four runs in the bottom of the second, but never postured a comeback. Manelos then added five more runs in the fourth inning off three hits.

WOMENS

Sakudi 20, Enamo Meta 10

Enamo Meta held tough against the defending champion early in the match and trailed by only one, 8-9, after its six-run burst in the top of the third inning built off two triples, a double, and a pair of base hits.

Sakudi then stepped up on offense and jumped in front, 17-10, in the next frame with seven hits.
