President’s Day baseball tourney

All coaches, managers and teams are encouraged to attend the meeting being organized by the Saipan Softball Association (SSA) in preparation for the holding of the 2000 President’s Day Tournament, which has been tentatively scheduled for March 10, 2000.

The meeting will be held on March 8th at 6:00 p.m. The press release did not indicate the venue for the meeting.

SSA is also reminding interested individuals that the deadline for the payment of entrance fee for the Men’s Fast-pitch tournament has been is on Thursday, March 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the Gilbert C. Ada Conference Room.

The softball association said it is also planning to open the 2000 Islandwide Fast-pitch Softball League tentatively scheduled for May 15, 2000. League fee has been set at $800 which should be submitted no later than May 8th. Also, the Slow-pitch Business League has been tentatively set in the second week of April.
