A 30-year-old Chinese businessman was found dead early yesterday morning at the Yellow House Massage Parlor in San Jose, and police said there were strong indications that he could be a victim of robbery.

The Department of Public Safety has immediately launched a manhunt for two male suspects who were seen inside the massage parlor arguing with Zhou You before he was murdered.

The police said they found the body of Mr. Zhou in a pool of blood when they arrived at the crime seen at around 3:00 a.m. The victim was found sitting by the entrance door, bending forward.

His wallet was missing, according to police investigators and witnesses.

Inside the massage parlor, which is owned by the victim’s wife, Wu Hui Ling, chairs were turned upside down and a pair of eyeglasses was found on a sofa behind the victim. The hallway and walls of the building were stained with blood.

Initial police investigation showed that the suspects came to the establishment demanding money from Mr. Zhou. However, the two men were refused and chased out of Yellow House by the victim.

But one hour later, the suspects returned to the building and pressed the businessman to give them money. They were again asked to leave the massage parlor’s premises.

A few minutes later the suspects came back and without any provocation struck the victim with a blunt object on his head and chest and then fled.

The victim was brought to the Commonwealth Health Center where he was pronounced dead at 7:32 a.m.

Mr. Zhou arrived on Saipan in 1992 and has a two-year-old son.
