Mike “Northern Exposure” Camacho went 3 for 3, all for extra bases with a double and two homeruns, including a first inning grandslam driving in seven runs. Older brother Carlos also went 3 for 3 with a double and two RBI’s as the Camacho Roots demolished the Local Force in the first game, 17-1, for their 14th win in 16 games handing Local Force their ninth loss.

The Roots scored the first 17 runs of the game in the first four innings, before the Local Force finally got on the scoreboard with a run in the top of the fifth on Harry Conley’s RBI single but much too short to continue the game with a fifth inning shut-out.

In the second game of the night, Team Fadang didn’t even get to go on the field as the Toles Gone fielded only two players for a 7-0 forfeiture win.

The win improved Fadang’s record to 6-10, dropping Toles Gone to 1-13.

Brien Nicolas hit a homerun and drove in two runs, and Jeff “Unpredictable” Cabrera hit two solo shot to lead the league-leading Angeaur Comets to their 14th victory with just one defeat with a fifth inning 24-9 mastery over Team Peleliu in the third game of the night.

The loss dropped Peleliu to 6-9. The Comets behind Nicolas’ three-run blast and Cabrera’s solo shot jumped on top 8-1 in the first inning and never looked back the rest of the way for the shut-out.

Team Sofang behind Henry Litulumar’s 4 for 4 with two homeruns and six RBI’s finally won their first game of the season outlasting Laly 4, 24-15 in the final game of the night.

The win evened both teams record at 1-14 with both having two more games remaining. Sofang jumped on top 6-3 after one inning of play, but Laly 4 took the lead, 10-8 after three complete with seven big runs in the bottom of the third.

With their two remaining games against two possible play-off contenders, Team Sofang wasted no time to try and record their first win exploding for nine runs in the top of the fourth highlighted by Litulumar’s three-run homer for a l7-10 lead. They went on to outscore Laly 4 7-5 in the 3 1/2 innings for their sweet victory.
