MVA membership meeting
The Marianas Visitors Authority (MVA) would like to announce that it will be having its general membership meeting on Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Dai-Ichi Saipan Beach Hotel’s Hibiscus Hall.
The keynote speaker will be Mr. Yoshinobu Onizawa, a member of the Japan Marianas Tourism Club (JMTC). He will be speaking about Japan’s outbound travel and current market trends. Onizawa is the general manager of Pacific Micronesia Tours Incorporated’s Planning Department, a subsidiary of Japan Travel Bureau (JTB).
MVA would like to invite all members and anyone interested to attend this meeting. To ensure seating at the meeting, please contact Martin Duenas of MVA at 664-3200/1, or fax at 664-3237.
Please note that the luncheon fee is $12.00 per person and payment shall be made directly to Dai-Ichi Saipan Beach Hotel.
MHS holds open house
The Marianas High School PTA Community Council and Administration, faculty and staff wishes to announce the Open House for the distribution of 1st quarter report cards to all students today from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Distribution of report cards will be issued by the MHS Counseling Department at the MHS stage area. All teachers will be in their respective classrooms to meet with their student’s parents/legal guardians to discuss their child’s progress.
