MVA board meeting
canceled

Marianas Visitors Authority Managing Director Perry John Tenorio yesterday said that the MVA board meeting scheduled for today has been canceled due to lack of quorum.

A new notice will be published for the next meeting at a later date, Tenorio said.

Training for employers to accommodate
employees with disabilities”

Through collaborative efforts with the Guam Developmental Disabilities Council, the CNMI Governor’s Developmental Disabilities Council (GDDC) presents “Training for Employers on Best Practices of Accommodating Employees with Disabilities”.

Registration is open to CNMI employers (public and private sectors). The three-day workshop will incorporate the following modules:

• Module one – Disability Awareness

• Module two – Overview of Laws and Regulations

• Module three – Strategies for Success

If you are an employer interested in participating in this workshop, please fill out the registration form and submit to the GDDC as soon as possible for space is limited.
