Tinian Dynasty sued by construction firm
A construction company is seeking help from the Superior Court to command payment for past dues owed by the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino.
The Tano Group Inc. filed a case against the establishment to finally collect over $50,000 plus interest, as part of the payment for the services rendered last year.
Both parties entered into a contract in November 1997 where the Tano Group agreed to construct its fuel storage tanks and lines, and piping to the generator.
The Tinian Dynasty promised to pay the company the principal amount of $248,350 and the additional of $8,021 for the change order.
The project was completed but despite repeated demands, Tinian Dynasty failed to deliver the remaining balance.
Ramangmou gets one year
The Superior Court on Wednesday sentenced Thomas Michael Ramangmou with one-year imprisonment after changing his plea to guilty for assault and battery.
Last December Ramangmou took the purse of T. Igoshi and threatened her with the use of force, but pled not guilty.
Last month he appeared in court with public defender Harvey Palefsky and pled guilty in exchange for reduced prison terms and dismissal of other charges. Sheila D. Amor
