Power outage along Airport Rd. on Sat.

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has scheduled a power outage this Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 8:30am to 11:30am.

Areas affected include the Kiya 1-2nd Partial, which cover Chalan Tun Herman Pan (Torres Refrigeration, Herman’s Bakery and laterals south toward Adios sign) and Flame Tree Road/Sineso Ln.

The purpose of the outage is to allow the power distribution crew to replace a rotten primary power pole and perform line clearing on Chalan Tun Herman Pan.

CUC apologizes for any inconvenience this power interruption may have on the community and will continue to work diligently to minimize future interruptions.

Because of the scale of the work that will be performed, travelers are asked to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas. (CUC)
