The ignorance of a political supporter

Share

I recently wrote a letter defending John S. Pangelinan’s and others’ rights to their opinion and just because I disagreed with him on an issue he resorts to name calling when I respectfully never mentioned his name and only addressed the subject matter he was writing about. Why can’t John stop this idiotic behavior and be respectful by sticking to the subject? He’s like a disruptive child in class! I even told readers how idiotic behavior exposes their ignorance and they still try. Poor John.

You show your ignorance by making statements without thinking, especially when it requires an analytical (a logical and investigative diagnosis) thought process. First, you profess your ignorance by admittedly writing about something you don’t even know about. FYI John, the Fat Lady is the voters or the fans at a sporting event, which is really common knowledge! The people or voters have been referred to as “John Q. Public” or “Johnny Mae Public” by authors and political scientists since the dawn of the modern president starting with FDR!

John, you’re using and promoting the motto of “Let IT Be” and trying to help Inos but it was the slogan of a governor who was literally run out of town so we all know you have no credibility. The only thing I can really do for John is to pray with the mindset of the old Negro spiritual Amazing Grace and hope that even though he is lost and blind that he will one day be found and able to see!

John, you and the governor are making ill-advised assumptions about marijuana legalization, especially when you say that pot legalization is not on anyone’s platform before you even see the platform! You need to wait and see as marijuana legalization will be presented to the people in due time. It has been changed into a sunshine law to experiment with legalization for three years, while we wait for revenues from the casino—if it is even going to be built. A three-year moratorium period for experimentation to let the people decide after observing first-hand if we should permanently legalize it is the best approach. You will see Legalize-IT, John and there will surely be a plethora of support. In fact, marijuana may be one of the few things to really be excited about in the coming election because of the tremendous potential for hundreds of millions in revenues with a happy-happy-happy HAHHhhhhlalfeeling, so stay tuned.

As for anti-casino candidates losing, John’s cognitive process is backwards. Some 14,200-plus are not retirees and all retirees are not going to stick with the governor once they get their money. John obviously doesn’t know people when it comes to money. Once they get their money they will kiss anyone good-by, especially if they have better options with a new governor and hundreds of millions in new revenues. Furthermore, most retirees now know the governor was just using them so do you really think they are going to be dedicated to Inos? It is payback time for exploiting retirees for true!

As for Inos rejecting pot legalization, it is now common knowledge that this governor and his predecessor have been killing any and everything with the potential to be an alternative to their casino, not the people’s. The governor rejected legalization because it is a genuine and even brilliant alternative solution to a casino offered by me and others to solve all of our financial challenges compared to the lunch money we will get from the casino, which the states of Colorado and Washington have already proved!

Thanks for reminding me, John, when you teased me about running for office and thinking you were making a joke. But I was really going to run and had a lot of support but I won’t be running for office. I do want to extend a special thanks to my 200-plus students and the other 100-plus voters who signed on to help me. But I realized that I can do much more for the people by working hard behind the scenes to fix our government and our economy. So I won’t be running, John, but thanks for providing me with more ammunition for the governor even though I didn’t need it. My students will tell you, “Mr. B knows his stuff and he don’t take no stuff!”
