Emon Lodge caging final meeting today
The Emon Lodge No.179 Brotherhood Basketball League will hold its final organizational meeting today, June 27, 7pm at the San Juvi Restaurant along Beach Road in Oleai.
Game schedule and other details of the league will be discussed in the meeting. Registration forms of interested teams will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis only.
The league is open only to players in the 40-and-above age group and will kick off on June 30, 2014, at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
So far, six teams have already confirmed their participation in the masters league, which is being sponsored by Docomo Pacific.
Teams are allowed to have only 12 players on their rosters. Squads must also pay the $500 entrance fee. Representatives/coaches of participating teams are asked to list the complete names of their players and their chosen jersey numbers. Teams should also provide organizers with a photocopy of registration and waiver forms filled up by each player.
